Q: Do you offer a product guarantee?
A: We offer a guarantee on our range of pergolas. We ensure that our customers will get replacement parts on our pergolas, within our terms and conditions, which you can see below.
Our guarantee period is 60 days. The buyer is responsible for contacting Cotswold Garden Shade, along with their order number.
We guarantee our pergolas for damaged materials and missing parts. In which case you must contact us so we can send you replacements. Our guarantee does not cover damage caused directly or indirectly by factors that are out of the responsibility of Cotswold Garden Shade.
The guarantee is only valid for defects in the materials or missing parts. Cotswold Garden Shade reserves the right to not apply the guarantee for the following:
- Commercial use / wholesale
- If the product has been tampered with by a third party
- Fair wear and tear
- Insufficient maintenance
- Not following the instructions correctly / not using the correct tools provided to construct the pergola
- If the buyer is outside of the UK (United Kingdom)
- Accident, disaster, neglect or vandalism
- Plastic scratches due to use
- Aluminum scratches due to use
Damaged goods must be returned to Cotswold Garden Shade in its original packaging. If the product cannot be returned in its original packaging the guarantee will not be valid. Cotswold Garden Shade does not apply the guarantee if damage has been caused by improper or incompetent construction. Photographic evidence must be provided for any damage to the product. This must be sent to us on our contact page. Any damage to our packaging or the product must be photographed and sent to us as soon as the item is delivered. Should the product be damaged in transit, photos should be sent to us within 48 hours of delivery, otherwise it is assumed the product arrived in pristine condition.
Q: What colours are available – are the louvres the same colour?
A: We currently have grey and white pergolas and the louvres are silver. Our blinds that fit the pergolas are also the same colour edging with either ivory or dove grey fabric.
Q: What material is the pergola made from?
A: The structure is 100% aluminium.
Q: I can see you don’t have the product in stock, are you expecting more soon?
A: We usually have lots of stock, but if we are out, contact us for the next in stock dates. We also offer Pre-orders. For more information on Pre-orders, Click Here.
Q: Do I require planning permission?
A: You do not need planning permission as long as it is your property.
